Obituary for Colonel Elmer Cosmos Cravens Ph.D. 93, of Louisville passed away Tuesday April 10, 2018 at his residence. He was a graduate of University of Louisville where he received a Bachelor of Arts, and a Specialist in Education. He also received a Doctorate of Education (P.H.D) from Sus College of Technology, a Doctorate of Naturopathy (N.D.) from the International University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy (P.H.D) from Nova Colleges.

Along with attending the Indiana University where he received his Doctorate in Geology and was a professor at Ivy Tech, Eastern Kentucky University, University of Louisville, and St. Boniface. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Craven and sister, Petronella Farley. He is survived by Loman Edward Dunn Jr., Petronella Hatcher, Michael Craven, Dianne Craven, Mary Patrice Craven, Edward Craven, Allen Craven, David Craven, and Rita Dunn.

Visitation will be 1-5 pm Sunday April 15, 2018 at Ratterman Funeral Home “St. Matthews” 3711 Lexington Rd. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10am Monday April 16, 2018 at St Aloysius Catholic Church 212 Mt. Mercy Dr., Pee Wee Valley.
