Obituary for John Stanley Wagner WAGNER, John Stanley, 65, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Forest Springs Health Campus with his family by his side. He was born December 16, 1952 in Brockton, MA a son of Martha S. Gerry Wagner and the late Edward Joseph Wagner. John was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.

He was a graduate of UK, and a former employee of Big O Tires and American Retreaders Association. John was an executive chef at Gumby’s Catering and a member of St. Louis Bertrand Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his mother Martha; his son, Chad E. Wagner; former wife and mother of his son, Judy Wagner; siblings, Edward (Carol) Wagner, Robert (Sallie) Wagner, Joseph Wagner, Stephanie Cassidy (Michael), Mary Smith (Steve), Stella Nugent (Lew), Richard (Julie) Wagner and Teresa Wagner (Eric); Close friend, Phyllis Cornwell and eight nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hosparus and the staff at Forest Springs for their loving care. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Drive followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at the church.
