OBITUARY Connie Sloop May 28, 1949 – July 12, 2018 Connie Mills Sloop, 69 of Bolivia, passed away on July 12, 2018. Mrs. Sloop was born and raised in Kannapolis, NC. She was the daughter of Rommie Mills and Rosalie Newsome Mills.

She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, and enjoyed painting, crafting, and reading. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Dale Sloop; two daughters Shellena McCall and husband Clyde of Fredericksburg, VA, and Santresa Culpepper of Southport; six grandchildren, Johnathan McCall, Joshua McCall, Katherine McCall, Cody Holland, Dale, Holland, and Dakota Culpepper; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sloop was preceded in death by a sister Mary Mahathey.

The funeral service will be at 2:30pm on Tuesday, July 17th at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church. The family will have visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday evening at the funeral home. A graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery in Concord, NC.
