OBITUARY John Azar March 18, 1933 – September 22, 2018 John Azar 85, of Southport, passed away on September 22, 2018. Mr. Azar was born March 18, 1933 in Danbury, CT to the late George and Mary Azar. He was a veteran of the US Army and a graduate of UConn.

He had worked as a social worker with special needs children at the Southbury Training School. Mr. Azar accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at middle age and loved the Lord until the end. His last wish was that more people would come to know the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ.

Mr. Azar is survived by his wife Delores Azar, a daughter Jody Crisco – Azar and husband Fred Crisco, two grandchildren, Karly and Abbey. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Joseph, and two sisters, Alice and Jeanette. A private gathering will be held at a later date.
