Connie Sue Frater, age 71, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday morning January 11, 2019, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Lima, Ohio June 13, 1947, to the late G.H. and Pauline (Mawhorr) McGinnis. Connie married Steven P. Frater December 1, 1968, in Kenton, Ohio and he preceded her in death July 28, 2005.

Connie was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul O. Prater. Connie is survived by her children, Teresa (Michael) Travis of Columbus, Tonya (Lee) Hollenbacher of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Toby Frater of Lakeview, Ohio and Tyler Frater of Bellefontaine; five grandchildren, Sydney, Peyton, and Nolan Hollenbacher, Chance and Skylar Frater and a cousin, Eric Prater. A 1965 graduate of McGuffey High School, Connie worked as a Senior Housing Manager at Shawnee Springs for more than twenty three years.

Visitation will be held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2 to 5 P.M. Pastor James Oates will officiate the funeral service Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Fairview-McDonald Cemetery in Kenton.
