Robert “Bob” L. Davis, age 84, of Jackson Center, Ohio passed away Saturday evening January 5, 2019, at his home. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan September 14, 1934, to the late Raymond and Flossie Doris (McGee) Davis. Bob was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lowell, Lloyd, and Jack Davis and a sister, Barbara Longberry.

Bob is survived by his wife, Beverly A. (Lowry) Davis whom he married July 3, 1989 in Somerset, Kentucky. He is also survived by daughters, Pam (Deron) DeVelvis of Jackson Center, and Mary (Charles) Lewis of Marysville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kara (Brad) Bruskotter, Heather DeVelvis, Tessa (Jesse Ramirez) Lewis, and Aubree Lewis; one great-grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews and a good friend Ron Linker of Jackson Center. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army where he was a medic.

Following his honorable discharge, he worked forty plus years as a heavy equipment operator for Western Ohio Stone and the Michigan Foundation. An outdoorsman, Bob loved spending his time fishing, boating and camping. Private family services were held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center.
