Mrs. Constance Gertrude Hinchey Hooper Augusta, GA – Mrs. Constance Gertrude Hinchey Hooper, 84, entered into rest Thursday, January 17, 2019, wife to the late Robert Lee Hooper. Mrs. Hooper was a native of New Brunswick, Canada where she grew up and also where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She lived in Augusta for the last 50 years, where she worked and raised her family.

Mrs. Hooper worked as a registered nurse at the VA Hospital, where she retired in 1996. Mrs. Hooper had been a faithful member of the Victory Assembly of God Church for 49 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a very giving Christian woman.

Surviving family members include son: Thomas E. Hooper (Gayle); daughter: Patricia M. Herron; step-son; John Hooper (Ruth); four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Assembly of God Church, 2030 Olive Road, Augusta, GA 30906.
