Obituary for Constance Joyce Record Constance Joyce Record, 81 of rural Benton, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Chaffee Nursing Center. She was born October 13, 1936 in Stockton, Missouri to the late Milford and Norma (Kennedy) Hutchins. Constance was a graduate of Stockton High School and received her nurse’s diploma from Baptist Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
She worked for the Missouri State Sanatorium in Mt. Vernon, Missouri and also at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City.
She and Roger D. Record were married November 7, 1959 in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Roger Record of Benton, Missouri; seven children, Cheryl (Marvin, Jr.) Wormington of Jackson, Missouri, Jan Wierman (Gary) of Rogers, Arkansas, Donald (Michelle) Record of York, Pennsylvania, Evelyn Record of St. Charles, Missouri, Daniel (Jennifer) Record of Hillsboro, Missouri, Rachael (Jason) Crocker of Chandler, Arizona and Darryl (Kayo) Record of Phnom Penh, Cambodia; one brother, Charles Clayton (Nelda) Hutchins of Marshfield, Missouri; two sisters, Marjorie Bossing of Springfield, Missouri and Norma Jean (Ron) Hubler of Springfield, Missouri; two half-brothers, Loren (Mabel) Hutchins and Marion (Carla) Hutchins; two half-sisters, Judy (Bill) Templeton and Kathy (Tony) Lambeth, all of Carthage, Missouri; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Harold Bossing. Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Sells officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, Missouri. Memorial donations may be given to Gideon’s International or The Navigator’s.
