Obituary for Jeffrey Joe Sides Jeffrey Joe Sides Sr., 56, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the home of his daughter. He was born January 30, 1962 in Kennett, Missouri to Roy and Lydia Ruebel Sides. He and Agnes Rosetta “Rosie” Sides were married January 30, 1986 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was a cab dispatcher for Kelley Transportation 21 years and later worked as a secretary for Helpers Moving & Storage for 10 years. He was a member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jackson. Survivors include one daughter, Jessica (Travis) Smith of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Jeffrey J. Sides, II of Cape Girardeau and Jacob Sides of Scopus, Missouri; one brother, John Sides of Wyoming; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Barbara Tucker, Peggy Teague and Glenda Beason. Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Ford & Sons Sprigg St. Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Ford & Sons Sprigg St. Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Rev.

Nathan Brown and Bishop Ronnie Brown officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
