Obituary for Lloyd J. Law Lloyd J. Law, 88, of Jackson, Missouri died Friday, October 19, 2018 at Missouri Veteran’s Home. He was born September 27, 1930 in Gideon, Missouri to Harvey and Alice Struby Law. He and Sellavene Law were married August 12, 1955 at Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Lloyd ranked Private first class in the Army having served in Korea; Where he received the Korean service medal with two bronze service stars, a United Nations medal and a National defense service medal. He was a member and had served as a deacon of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church. He was an Elementary Principal and Director of Elementary Education at Jackson R-2 Schools.

He was a Mason with Jackson Masonic Lodge, VFW, and past commander of Jackson American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Sellavene Law of Jackson, Missouri; one daughter, Janie (Robert) Cox of Jackson, Missouri; three sons, Terry (Glenda) Law of Columbus, Indiana, Rickey (Susan) Law of Saint Louis, Missouri and Brian (Amy) Law of Birmingham, Alabama; and ten grandchildren, Jeremy, Amie, Jenna, Travis, Gabrielle, Sadie, Jordan, Jason, Lauren and Whitney; 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Ford & Sons Mt.

Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Brian Law officiating.

Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau, with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be given to Charity of Choice. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Lloyd J. Law please visit our Sympathy Store.
