Obituary for Danny Gene Hale Danny Gene Hale, 69, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau. He was born September 23, 1949 in Sullivan, Indiana to John and Wilma Butler Hale. He and Linda Kay Gross were married June 8, 1989 at Cape Girardeau.

Danny drove a gasoline tanker truck for Rhodes Oil Co. for 34 years. He retired in 2004. He was known as Gasoline Alley.

He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ in Jackson. Survivors include his wife, Linda Kay Hale of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Claudette Radford of Chaffee, Missouri, Beth Ann Bollinger of Jackson and Angela Hale of Cape Girardeau; one son, Junior “June Bug” Radford of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Virginia Blaylock of Jackson; three brothers, David Ray Hale of Cape Girardeau, Tracey Hale of Sikeston, Missouri, Johnny (Sharon) Hale; three grandchildren, Kevin Bevell, Sheila Kay Arnold and Jake Radford; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Randy Lee Hale and Jeff Hale; and one grandchild, Tiffany Copeland.

Friends may call 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Ford & Sons Mt.

Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Delbert Mueller officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
