Obituary for James Albert Hornbeek James Albert “Al” Hornbeek, 86, of Jackson, Missouri passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at Saint Francis Medical Center. He was born May 25, 1932 in Jacksonville, Illinois to Russell and Mabel Suter Hornbeek. He and Paula Jean Maynard Willis were married November 14, 2000.

He served years in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Paula Jean Maynard Willis Hornbeek of Jackson, Missouri; one daughter, Cheri Lynn Hubert of Jacksonville, Illinois; one son, James A. (Gayla) Hornbeek, Jr. of Jacksonville, Illinois; two step-sons, Gene (Jill) Willis of Tennessee and Timothy (Fiance, Erica Johnson) Willis of Jackson; five grandchildren, Hope Willis of Alabama, Sarah (Fiance, Ben Spiecker) Willis of Saint Louis, Wyatt Alexander Willis of Jackson, Brian and Christopher Hornbeek of Jacksonville, Illinois. Visitation will be 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Ford & Sons Jackson Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Baxter officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
