Obituary for Mary Louise Dunham Mary Louise Dunham, 89, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Monday, November 19, 2018 at Southeast Hospital. She was born February 1, 1929 in Cape Girardeau to George and Bernice Unnerstall Reisenbichler. She and William W. “Bill” Dunham were married July 9, 1950 at Cape Girardeau.
He preceded her in death on January 1, 2013. She was involved in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and coached Mary Catherine’s softball team. She enjoyed water aerobics and loved roses, gardening and spending time with her family.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mary C. Dunham of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Robert (Jan) Dunham of Cape Girardeau, Timothy W. (Dr. Rhonda) Dunham of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Betty Fluegge of Gordonville, Missouri and Jean Hewitt of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, Bryan (Deborah) Dunham, Patrick (Jenny) Dunham, Jamie (Josh) Purtle, Kirsten (Jonathan) Connell, Stefanie (Cory) Kassel, Ashley Underwood, Misty (Jerry) Dority and Shari (Casey) Rariden; step-grandchild, Billy (Brittany) Underwood; thirteen great-grandchildren, Nicole (Hershey) Eastman, Evan Dunham, Madilyn Dunham, Olivia Dunham, Cooper Dunham, Jordyn Purtle, Jackson Purtle, Zoey Espinoza, Brayden Kassel, Devin Kassel, Gage Kassel, Alex Blodgett and Nick Blodgett; one step-great-grandchild, Beau Underwood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, William C. Dunham; and one sister, Margie Vinyard. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home the Rev. Daniel Maske officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
