Obituary for Donald H. Howard Donald H. Howard, 81 of Jackson, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born August 4, 1937 in Cape Girardeau to the late Lester and Ethel (Burns) Howard. Donald and Betty J. Thomas were married December 29, 1955 in Cape Girardeau.

She preceded him in death on December 12, 1991. Donald served in the U. S. Air Force and retired from Proctor and Gamble as a fire inspector. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Loving survivors include his son, Donald (Margaret) Howard, Jr. of Jackson; daughters, Nancy (John) Hagy of Morley, Missouri and Jennifer Howard of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Marilyn (Donnie) May of Farmington, Missouri; three grandchildren, Charisse Parrish, Matt (Halie) Howard and Alissa Howard; three great-grandchildren, Brittany and Austin Smith and Tyler Howard; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg St. Chapel.

Funeral will be Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Billy Carter officiating. Entombment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum with full military honors.
