She was born January 31, 1922 in Cuba, Missouri to Edgar and Ruth Mitchell Nelson. Survivors include one niece, Christina (Rick) Coad Kennard of Jackson, Missouri; two nephews, Timothy M. (Jennifer) Coad of Cape Girardeau and Michael N. (Cathy) Coad of Cape Girardeau; and several great nieces and nephews.
