Obituary for Cora ‘Mardell” Fullem Cora “Mardell” Fullem, 98 of Sotuh Connellsville slipped away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on May 25, 2018 at the South Connellsville Personal Care Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 27, 1920 in Somerset County a daughter of the late Elias and Susan Elizabeth Pletcher Hershberger. Mardell was a longtime member of the Albright United Methodist Church in South Connellsville.

She loved her Sunday School Classes and Bible Studies Classes. She was a devoted , loving wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and friend to everyone. We are so thankful that she is whole in her heavenly home with Jesus and her husband Carl Fullem and daughters, Regina Fullem and Merna Fullem Urbach.

Mardell is survived by two daughters, Nancy D. Mauk of Oaks, Pa. and Karen M. Lewellen of Bullskin Twp and devoted caregiver and friend Jane Barnhart of South Connellsville. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Terri Arthur, Donald Mauk, Tony Mauk, Robin James, James Lewellen, Jason Urbach and Jamie Callen; 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband and two daughters. Friends will be received in the Albright United Methodist Church, 1626 S. Pittsburgh St., South Connellsville, Pa. on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., the hour of funeral services with Rev.

Steven Lamb officiating. Interment will be in the Normalville Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, Pa.
