NEW HARTFORD – Correll “Butch” Lidington, 75, passed away after a brief illness on November 26, 2018. He was the loving husband of Shirley (Wald) Lidington for six years and the late JoAnne (Calder) Lidington and the late Bernadette (Flotat) Lidington. Born December 1, 1942 in New Hartford; the son of the late James and Hannah (Murphy) Lidington.

He loved spending time in his garage working on his many projects and his Model T. Most of all, he loved spending time with the family he was close to and traveling to visit with them as well.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Hanna Lidington (Phil Rodney) Ochave of VA, Anne Lidington (Kyle) Jespersen of NY, Cheryl (Bill) Piland and James Lidington, all of FL; grandkids, John and Samantha Lippert of NY, Correll and Charles Ochave of VA, Hannah Sprague of LA and Melissa Sauerteig of FL; great grandkids, Jeremiah. Graveside services will be held on December 8 at Riverside Cemetery, Pleasant Valley at 9 a.m. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford has care of the arrangements.
