Obituary for Curtis “Chipmunk” Lee Eskridge Curtis “Chipmunk” Lee Eskridge, 52, of Bristol, VA passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Saltville, VA on January 9, 1966, a son of the late James and Virginia Brickey Eskridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Harvey Eskridge and Richard David Eskridge and mother-in-law, Joyce “Carol” Carolyn Mann.

He was a lifetime arborist and a simple man who loved motorcycles. He was set in his ways and was slow getting ready. He was a member of Henchman Motorcycle Club.

His hobbies included collecting knives and arrowheads. The activities that he enjoyed the most were riding motorcycles, going to yard sales and flea markets, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Curtis is survived by his girlfriend, Donna Jean Thomas; daughters, Kelly Lynn Widener and Jacquline Danyelle Thomas; sons, Michael Sean Eskridge, Kevin Allen Eskridge, and Jessie-Dean Allen Thomas; grandchildren, Seth Elijah Widener, Jayden Grant Widener, Christian Liam Widener, Cory Widener, Brandon Widener, Mason Eskridge, McKenzie Grace Eskridge, Gunner Lee Eskridge, Caroline Grace Mann, Everley Brooklyan Doss, Maddie Grace Thomas, and Christian Dean Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Henchman Motorcycle Club, Peaceful Few Motorcycle Club, Iron Riders, the Tedder family, The Hellions Motorcycle Club, Gunny, Colleen Green, Tammy Bible, Deb Norton, and Greg and Kathleen Phillips. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, Bristol, VA. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Johnny Mink officiating.

The committal service and interment will follow at Blountville Cemetery, Blountville, TN. Pallbearers will be Eric Widener, Robby Mock, Carl Mock, Doug Sladle, Damian Doss, Mike Sakellar, and Blake Bible. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Davis, Ron Rasnick, and Jerry Norten.
