Obituary for Curtis E. Moore Jr. Curtis E. Moore, Jr., of Heath, TX, for 17 years, passed away April 8, 2018, at the age of 74. He was born May 26, 1943. A loving family man, Curtis was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was always there for his family and was crazy about his wife, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchild. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Curtis owned Moore’s Car Corner in Mesquite, TX. He was a Deacon at East Grand Baptist Church in Dallas, TX, for 32 years where he taught in the youth department.

Later he joined Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, TX. Curtis enjoyed traveling the world and loved taking trips on his Harley. Always joking around, Curtis was fun to be around and loved having a good time.

Curtis never met a stranger and he loved people. He was a generous person and would give up the shirt off his back if needed. A good and honest man, Curtis made an impression on many and will be remembered by all.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Connie Moore; daughters: Tracey Rabe and husband Brad and Kelly Nichols and husband Todd; grandchildren: Courtney Gideon and husband Zach, Morgan Johnson and fiancé Chase Jordan, Caitlin Nichols and fiancé Tyler Franklin, Blake Nichols and Jarrett Rabe; great grandchildren: Cami Johnson and Jensen Rabe; mother: Pauline Julien; and brother: Dennis Moore and wife Judy; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Curtis E. Moore, Sr. A celebration of Curtis’ life will be held 11:00am Monday, April 16, 2018, at Lake Pointe Church – Pier 419, 701 I-30, Rockwall, 75087, with Pastor Steve Stroope officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00am.
