Curtis’ Obituary Curtis Smith Coe, 98, of Parkersburg passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Worthington Manor. He was born May 26, 1921 in Spencer, WV a son of the late Lipton and Brentice Alderman Coe. He served his country in the US Army during WWII.

He was on Omaha Beach with the 5th ESB Amphibias Division and served in the battle of Normandy. Curtis retired from Universal Glass/Demuth Glass. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching wrestling on tv.

He is survived by his daughter, Beverly A. Agnew (Richard Paul) of Walker; three grandchildren, Bradley Agnew (Alicia) and Danny and Chad Stalnaker; four great-grandchildren, Carter, Lincoln, Cohen and Kieran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Carroll Gault Coe; two step-sons, Baron and Daniel Stalnaker; and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Jerry Caplinger officiating.

Burial will be in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
