Cynthia A. Gigowski, age 56 passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was at home surrounded by her loving, caring husband Jon and family and friends. Cindi was born in Boston on November 13, 1961 to Joseph Green and Barbara (Roche) Green.

Cindi grew up in Stoughton MA graduating from Stoughton High School 1979. While working full time, raising her family she went to Montcalm Community College and Central Michigan University, earning a Master of Arts in 1997. … Read More » At age 17 Cindi joined the U.S.Marines and retired after 20 years at the rank of Gunnery sergeant.

Cindi met Jonathan Gigowski in the marines and married on June 27, 1987. They lived in Lakeview Michigan and raised their three beautiful daughters, Jaimee Davis, Cristal and Megan. She retired in June 2017 from Beal City schools, after 20 years of teaching.

She was survived by her husband Jon, their daughters Jaimee, Cristal and Megan and her loving grand daughter Cali. Also, her father Joseph Green and sister Jo-Anne Pironti of Milford MA, Edward Green of Taunton, MA and John Hennessey of Chicago. She will be missed by her many other extended family members.

Cindi was preceded in death by her Mother, Barbara and her sister, Linda Routhier. > She was a loving, caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and teacher. She touched the lives of hundreds of students, teachers and the was a huge supporter in her local communities.

She will be missed by so many people. Visitation at United Church of Christ in Lakeview on Friday, May 11 from 4 -8 pm. Memorial will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 10:30 am.
