Gillis, 64, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Friday, January 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born on January 10, 1955 to the late Leo and Virginia (Willems) Gillis in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School.

Dale worked at Petersen Machine/Pioneer Products for 23 years. On August 9, 1986 he married Ruth (Maruca) Caputo in Kenosha. Dale’s greatest pride and first priority was his family.

He enjoyed playing pool and basketball with his grandchildren. Dale enjoyed his weekly motorcycle rides with his wife Ruth in the country. Dale is survived by his wife Ruth, his children Scott Caputo, Steven (Michele) Caputo, Brent Caputo and Jennifer Gaines, 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister Sandy (Paul) Whiteside, brother Leo R. Gillis, brother-in-law Michael (Maureen) Maruca and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by a nephew Darrell Gillis and a brother-in-law Paul Maruca. Funeral Services for Dale will be held on Thursday, January 17th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
