Dale A. Turecke, 78, Green Bay, fell asleep in death on Sunday, April 29, 2018, with his loving family by his side. He was born January 1, 1940, in Muncie, IN to Michael and Margaret Turecke. On June 25, 1955, Dale was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He was a graduate from West High School in Green Bay in 1958. In 1960, he met his “bride” and the love of his life, Joyce Ann Breneman. The two were married May 20, 1961, in Rockford, IL.

Dale loved to spend time with his model trains, ride motorcycle with his wife, Joyce, and enjoyed taking care of his tropical fish. He was a loving father and husband that did his best to provide for and take care of his family physically and spiritually. He was very good at and loved to converse with anyone he would meet.

No one was a stranger to him. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed a good laugh. He loved people and he enjoyed spending time in his door to door ministry.

It gave him great joy to help others learn about the God of the Bible, Jehovah. He knew that the Bible foretold a time when there would be a resurrection here on the earth where life would be enjoyed in a paradise and the aches and pains of growing old would be a thing of the past. – John 5:28, 29; Rev.

21:4. He looked forward to that time and so does his family where we will all be reunited once again to enjoy life here on paradise earth in peaceful conditions. – Ps 37:10, 11, 29.

Survivors include his loving wife of almost 57 years, Joyce; son, Michael David (Mary); grandchildren, Tricia Lilla and her kids, Logan, Abigail, Harrison & Oscar, & Rocky (Brittany) Lilla; mother-in-law, Helen Breneman; brothers-in-law, Jim & Jess (Josephine); sister-in-law, Janice Wiggs; and three aunts, Josephine VanDuyn, Mary Jane Kerrigan and Emily Anderson; cousins, David (Lolly) Sopiwnik and their daughter, Laura (Mark) Cannon, Sandy Goodman and Thelma Gerhardt; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Margaret Turecke; son, Vincent Levi Turecke; father-in-law, Harold Breneman; brother and sister-in-law, Harold Jr. and Catherine; brother-in-law, Don Wiggs; and aunts and uncles. Friends and family may call Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3065 West Mason Street, Green Bay, WI 54313 from 3:30 to 4:30.

A talk will follow with Timothy Carley officiating. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the loving care he was provided his last month of life from the Bayshore Village nursing home. The care he received was unlike any we have seen in a nursing care facility.
