Obituary for Dale Buck Lloyd Dale Buck, age 85, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Halcyon House in Washington. A graveside service and interment with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He graduated from Ainsworth High School and was united in marriage to Yvonne “Bonnie” Putney. Dale had previously worked for Dick & Bills Produce and Sitler’s Electric. He then dedicated his time to the Iowa National Guard where he served for 43 years.

Dale is survived by his wife, Bonnie Buck of Ainsworth, IA; step-children: Dick Putney of Des Moines, IA; Don Putney of Streamwood, IL; Steve Putney of Burlington, IA; and Lori (Dan) Havel of Ainsworth, IA; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and sister, Catherine (Dan) Kiesey of Marion, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents; one step-son, Bob Putney; brothers: Francis “Sonny” James, Junior “Sheenie” Buck, and Richard Buck; and sisters: Helen Johnson, Grace Moore, Maxine Jones and Mary Lou Edgar.
