Dale House 75 of Mesquite went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, June 18, 2018 at his residence. A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Pastor Keith Goodson officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Dallas Ft-Worth National Cemetery.

Dale was born August 17, 1942 Texarkana, Texas. He is the son of the late Leamon Edward House and Minnie Bell Smith House. He was raised and educated in Texarkana.

He joined the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and proudly served our country until his discharge. He returned to Texarkana before moving to the Dallas area where he worked many years as a printer. He married the former Miss Evelyn Chloe Hooten on January 20, 1970 and they made their home in East Tawakoni for many years before moving to Mesquite in the 1990’s where he owned and operated Dale’s Painting Service, retiring in 2016.

Dale enjoyed attending all of his great-grandchildren’s sporting events. He loved playing softball being an umpire and coach. He liked playing cards and planning vacations.

Dale was loved and will be missed by his wife Chloe. Sons, Andre Rabe & his wife Lucy and Ron House all of Mesquite. Daughters, Sharon Fitts & husband Milton, Ginger Rogers & husband Donny all of Point and Tammy House of Tennessee.

Grandchildren, Charles Fitts & wife Marla, Angela Fitts, Jessica Lavender, Sara Capps, David Capps, Donny Rogers Jr & wife Adrienne and Lindey Rogers & husband Chris. Great-Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lacie, Ashton, Lanie, Lexie and Michelle. Sister, Vickie Bradley & husband Dickie of Quinlan and Dianna Garrison & husband Scott of Allen.

Brother, Jerry House & wife Annette of Seagoville. Also, his beloved dogs Elvis and Little Joe.
