Travis “Dean” Eldean Trout 79 of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, June 11, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services celebrating Travis life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Pastor Larry McClure officiating, interment with military honors will be held at 11:15 A.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours before services.

Serving as Pallbearers: Chaz Smith, Jacob Banks, Isaiah Bernal, Mike Trout, Craig Trout and Berry Trout. Travis was born July 4, 1938 in Maud, Oklahoma. He is the son of the late Norman Trout and Flossy Faulkinbery.

Being a son of an oil field worker, Travis was raised and educated in many different areas of Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. He entered the United States Marine Corp in 1955 and proudly serviced our country until 1959. He married the former Miss Karen Joy Littlefield on April 23, 1958.

After his discharge from the Marine Corp, he to follow in his father’s footstep by working for the oil companies, eventually becoming a consultant for them. He retired in 1999. After living in several areas of the county, they settled in rural Quinlan 29 years ago.

He was a longtime member of the Tawakoni Assembly of God. Travis loved watching old westerns especially Gunsmoke. He was an avid John Wayne fan.

Years ago, he even enjoyed fishing and going noodling. He is loved and will be missed by his wife of 60 years, Karen Joy Trout. Sons, Michael Dean Trout & wife Lisa, Johnny Craig Trout, Gary Glenn Trout and Berry Lynn Trout all of Quinlan.

Grandchildren, Jessica, Lacey, Angelia, Laura, April, Joshua, Jacob and Gary. Great-Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob, Matthew, Bella, Isaiah, Caden, Cloye, Chaz, Serenity and Valen. Great-Great-Granddaughter, Ava.

Brother, LeRoy Trout of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Several Nieces and nephews.
