Gerald (Jerry) Uitermarkt, 82, of West Tawakoni passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Carrollton. Interment with Military Honors will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Jerry was born on March 26, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa.

He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and grandson. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 517, Amvets Post 36 all of West Tawakoni.

He is survived by sons Jim & wife Connie of Sioux Falls, SD, John & wife Penny of Richardson, TX; granddaughter Lisa of Ft. Collin, CO; sister-in-law Marge of Des Moines, IA; great-grandson C.J. of Richardson, TX.
