Dale E. Meek, 83, of Jackson Township, passed away on October 23, 2018. He was born on April 5, 1935 in Canton to the late Carl and Kathryn (Myers) Meek. Dale retired from Rorick’s commercial construction where he worked as an estimator for 35 years.

He also owned Canton South Garden Center. Dale was a member of the NRA and Masonic Lodge where he was a freemason. In his spare time, Dale was a handy man and was known for creating beautiful stained glass projects.

He was also an amateur photographer and knife maker which was his greatest passion. He will be deeply missed by his children Bambi Gallucci, Angela (Ty) Beeching and James (Carri) Meek; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and sister Judy (Joe) Marcoaldi. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Ina M. Meek.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bryan George officiating and burial will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
