John A. Cice, Sr., 90, of Massillon, passed away on October 15, 2018 at Aultman Compassionate Care. He was born on September 21, 1928 in Canton to the late Angelo and Margaret (Andriotte) Cice. He married Ida Meeks on July 10, 1948.

They shared 64 loving years together before her passing in 2012. John retired from the Canton Repository after 50 years of service. He was also the secretary at the Canton Elks for many years.

In his spare time, John enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family. His greatest passion was being a father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his children Doreen (Rick) Tucci, Cheryl Armstrong, Angela Page, John (Theresa) Cice, Jr., Paula Pryor, and Margo (Charles) Grosswiler; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; siblings Marion Carraher, Carl (Gertrude) Cice, Shirley (Jerry) Brown, Paul (Ruth) Cice, Patricia (Larry) Stauffer, Angelo (Rita) Cice, Joseph Cice and Charles (Pearl) Cice.

In addition to his parents and wife, John was preceded in death by two great-granddaughters, Lauren and Mackenzie. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take places and no services are scheduled at this time.
