Olive J. Diana, age 96 of Jackson Twp. , passed away peacefully on October 1, 2018. She was born on November 17, 1921 in Canton, Ohio to the late Edward and Olive B. (Miller) Jones.

Olive “O.J.” was a 1940 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Olive enjoyed sewing, crafts, baking, collecting angels and polar bears and volunteering at the church.

She especially loved to spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Virgil V. Diana, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by 3 sons, all of Jackson Twp.

, Charles (Jeanette), Timothy (Katherine) and Virgil L. (Sherrie), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families. She is also survived by her brother, Victor (Sue) Jones of Maumee, OH and her brother-in-law, Gerald (Betty) Diana of Massillon. The funeral will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev.

Larry Lalama and Rev. Ralph Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10-11:00 am.
