Margaret Joan Johnson, 87, passed away on October 13, 2018, following an extended illness. She was born in Randall, KS on April 27, 1931 to the late Sherman and Vera (Alcorn) Loomis. Margaret retired from Massillon City Schools, where she taught Neurological Handicapped Children at Whittier School.

She was a member of First Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Richard Johnson, whom she married on August 24, 1952; their children, Rick Johnson and Cynthia Cline; grandchildren, Chelsea, Chase, Michael and Brandon; and great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Gunnar. Family will receive friends from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Paquelet Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm Thursday, Pastor Steven Gower officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.
