Cordella “Pee Wee” M. Davis, age 76 of Massillon, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 03, 2018. She was born on January 31, 1942 in Massillon. She was a 1960 graduate of Washington High School.

Cordella worked as a Unit Secretary in the Emergency Room at Aultman Hospital for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a life member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she enjoyed worshiping and praising the Lord, she received an award from the Missionary Ministry of Shiloh Baptist Church for many years of service. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and her beloved dogs Chippy and Charlotte.

She was also known for her volunteer work at St. Joseph Church Soup Kitchen. Cordella has touched many lives with her kindness, generosity and her smile. She never met a stranger.

She leaves to cherish her memory sisters Lula “Sue” Trammell and Juanita (Tyrone) McFadden-Hill; brother Gerald (Eddie Mae) Harris; aunts Ira Jean Clark and Delores Holloway; uncle Cornelius (Carole) Clark; special friends The Honorable Judge Edward (Margaret) Elum, Jennette and Paul Elum, Bonnie (Robert) Rhoden and family, Judy Woods, William “Bill” Matthews of California, Ruth Rogers and family, Darlene Torrence, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cordella was preceded in death by her parents; sister Jean Ann Atwood; brother Johnny T. McFadden and 2 nephews Terrell Atwood and Donald Ray York. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Homegoing Celebration will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Massillon on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 12 noon, where the family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Pastor Anthony M. Robinson Sr. will be officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Aultman Hospital, and Aultman Hospice and Palliative Care, Hanover House Healthcare Center and Aultman Compassionate Care Center. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shiloh Baptist Church Missionary Ministry, Aultman Compassionate Care Center or The American Cancer Society.
