Norma “Aunt Norma Jean” Reed, 86, passed away on October 17, 2018, following an extended illness. She was born in Orrville on September 6, 1932 to the late Robert James and the late Lillie Belle (Plummer) Reed. She was member of the former Wesleyan Methodist Church and was a retiree of Crown Cork and Seal.

Norma loved cats and taking in strays from her neighborhood. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a sister, Betty Tasseff of Massillon. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Lee McFaran; four brothers, Paul, Raymond, Robert “Bud” and Richard Reed and four sisters, Virginia Dominick, Naomi “Dudie” Werntz, Mary Stoll and Dorothy “Edie”Fisher; and her ex-husband, Minney McFaran.
