Jonathan C. Sewell Age 68, of East Sparta, passed away Monday Oct. 15, 2018. He was born May 3, 1950 in Canton, a son of the late Walter and Doris (Hinchee) Sewell, and was a life resident of this area.

Jonathan was a retired truck driver and had made many trips from here to New York. Jonathan was a member of the Magnolia Historical Society, which he really enjoyed, and had served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Pamela Sewell, on Aug.

19, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Abby Sewell, his son, Alden (Cassi) Sewell, and their daughters, Ashlee and Kiley; one sister and three brothers, Barbara Monaco, Joe Sewell, Jim (Lori) Sewell, and Jerry Sewell. According to his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no calling hours or ervices.
