Daniel A Coder age 72 passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice. Survived by one brother Herman (Flora-deceased) Coder and three sisters Janet Coder, Margaret Jane (Harold) Wringer, Linda (Richard-deceased) Rettko. Preceded in death by parents Herman A. and Mary Louise (Richards) Coder and one nephew David A. Coder.

Dan was an avid fisherman, belonging to the South Wilmington Sportsman Club and Grundy County Rod and Gun Club. He also loved Nascar. He served in the U.S. Army (1966-1972) and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Services for Daniel will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice in Dan’s name would be appreciated.
