Daniel Adelbert Himes, 68 of Cicero Lane, Lawndale passed away, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his home. Born on December 20, 1949 in New York he was the son of the late Adelbert Himes and Florence Mimmack Himes. He was retired from Sanders Brothers Construction and the Carpenters Union of New York.

Mr. Himes also served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife Sharon Ann Truax Himes; three sons, Scott Himes (Samantha) of Midland; Jeffrey Himes (Julie)… Read More » of Concord and Shane Himes (Kristin) of Boca Raton, FL, daughter, Danielle Jodway (Tom) of Morganton; ten grandchildren, Ryan Himes, Brandon Himes, Marissa Jodway, Zachary Himes, Jessica Himes, Nicholas Jodway, Jordyn Himes, Morgan Himes, Austin Himes, and Madelyn Himes. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.
