Wickman “Dano”, 59, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 2, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. Daniel was born in Queens NY and lived in Brooklyn before settling in Rahway 7 years ago. He graduated from Power Memorial High School in New York.

He was a Senior Maintenance Technician for R/GA Media Group in New York for the past 11 years. Dano was an avid motorcyclist and a very active charter member of Rolling Thunder NY #1 where he was a past Road Captain. For many years, Dano organized charitable runs for children with AIDS.

He also volunteered at the VA Hospital in Brooklyn on Bingo nights and several Christmas parties. He was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Colonia. Danny would love to share his food, advice and friendship.

He was a great neighbor, a good Christian who was always willing to help a brother or sister. Danny is predeceased by his late sister Peggy Wickman who died in 2018. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Genevieve “Genny” Wickman, 2 brothers: Michael and his wife Ela and Harvey and his wife Christine, 2 sisters: Susan McCune Wickman and Alice and her husband Frank DePalmo.

He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews and many friends from all walks of life. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 9:45am from the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 West Milton Avenue, Rahway, NJ. 07065, followed by a 10:45 funeral mass at St. John Vianney RC Church Colonia, NJ.

Family will greet guests from 2-5pm and 7-10pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial to take place at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery Colonia.
