Mrs. Danielle Clark Burns of Rowland, NC was born September 25, 1973 and departed this life on June 2, 2018 at Morrison Manor Hospice House of Scotland County. She was preceded in death by her mother Angelia M. Hunt; her brother Raymond Vardell Clark; a daughter Krisna Ladell Allen; paternal grandparents Jessie & Mary Clark; and maternal grandparents Vardell & Helen Miller. Mrs. Danielle is survived by her husband David Burns; her children Dylan Allen, Jaden Allen, and Braxton Burns of the home; her father Jessie Clark Jr. (April) of Red Springs; three sisters Zina (William) Phillips, Dina (Ronald) Hunt all of Lumberton; Tina Oxendine of Maxton, NC; two brothers Jessie Ryan Clark of Shannon and Dakota Clark of West Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

As a devoted leader in the Elrod Baptist Church Youth Ministry, she had a God given passion to guide youth to live a God centered life and eternally impacted many lives. She selflessly used her story and testimony of faith to inspire and encourage other cancer patients and their families to embrace life. She encountered obstacles of life with bravery knowing God’s mercy and grace was sufficient to carry her through anything that came her way.

Danielle embraced life to the fullest, cherished each day God gave, and lit up every room she entered.
