Obituary for Danny Earps Danny Ward Earps, age 73, of Buchanan, TN, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at his daughter’s home in Cedar Hill. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:30pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Brother Don Dungan officiating. Burial will follow in the Joelton Hills Memorial Gardens with Mike Pruitt, Chris Pruitt, Brett Pruitt, Jeff Fitts, Lee Fitts, Bill Nolen and Billy Noe serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30pm until the hour of service at 1:30pm. Mr. Earps was born April 16, 1945 in Nashville, TN to the late Robert and Elizabeth Lane Earps. He was a Christian, worked as a banker, was a veteran of the National Guard and was the founding member of the “Leopard and the Spots” band.

In addition to his parents Mr. Earps is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby “Ollie” Earps, nephew, Jody Cundall, and step-grandchildren, Stephen and Emily Burns. Mr. Earps is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Earps; son, Jonathan Earps; step-son, Bill (Carol) Earps; daughter, Stephanie (Eddie) ton; step-daughter, LeeAnne Choate; sister, Janice (Joe) Cundall; grandchildren, Chase and Hope ton, Austin Choate and Gus Nolen; great-grandchild, Weston Bowen; and a niece, Shelly Cundall Essner and her son Seth. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
