Obituary for Norma Jean Davis Norma Jean Davis, age 78 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Monday, December 17 2018, surrounded by loving family in her home. Norma was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and all kinds of crafts.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Douglas “Bop” Davis; baby, Troy Allen Davis; and brother, Lawrence (Mary) Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Goddard Harrington; son, Butch (Lisa) Doris; daughter, Tonya (Tommy) Garrett; grandchildren, Renee and Jesse Garrett, Doug and Jimmy Davis; and sisters, Linda (Tony) Bull, and Gale (Doug) Cripps. Visitation with the family will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 19, from 6pm until 8pm and again on Thursday from 9am-10am.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday at 10am at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville with burial to follow in Nashville National Cemetery at noon with family and friends serving as pall bearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 1102 17th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212, or stjude.org, or (615) 320-3733.
