Obituary for Rayburn Keith Joel Rayburn Keith, age 84, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11am in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Trent Keith, Nicholas Keith, David Osborne, Derrick Redding, Devin Truelove and Will Osborne serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 4-8pm and again on Wednesday from 9am until the hour of service at 11am. Mr. Keith was born May 5, 1934 in Springfield to the late Dawson Emmett and Nell Atrice Carver Keith. He was a butcher and member of the Mt.

Carmel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents Mr. Keith is preceded in death by his son, Joel Keith and his brother, Earl Keith. Mr. Keith is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bobbie Lee Reid Keith; sons, Tony (Mary) Keith of Springfield and Michael (Jill) Keith of Adairville; sister, Lillian (Guthrie) Simmons of Springfield; grandchildren, Tonya (David) Osborne, Trent (Mary Beth) Keith, Nicholas Keith, Lacey (Derrick) Redding and Hannah Keith; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Stone Soup Ministries at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church or to Friendship Meal at Owens Chapel United Methodist Church. Any donations may be sent in c/o Austin & Bell.
