Obituary for Ludie Wallace After an extended battle with Alzheimer’s, Ludie Cooksey Wallace passed away on December 19, 2018, in Chattanooga, TN. The daughter of Helen Rae and Andy Edward Cooksey, she was born November 11, 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Elliott Wallace, brothers Earl Cooksey, Carter Cooksey, and Roger Cooksey (Dorothy).

She is survived by her only daughter and Son-In-Law, Alexa and Jeff Lett, granddaughter Sadie, and brother Lucian Cooksey (Theresa). Mrs. Wallace lived in Cedar Hill, TN, most of her life and was an active member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and served as organist for many years. She was also an active long-time member of Tennessee Farm Bureau Women.

The service will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield, Tennessee, December 28, 2018. Friends and family will be received at 10am with a service to follow in the chapel at Noon with Dr. Eric Taylor. Entombment will be a private family service.
