Darla Scrip 79 of Roscoe, died Friday May 18, 2018 at Magee Women’s Hospital. Born in Coal Center on February 14, 1939, a daughter of Emmor and Josephine Qualk Ames. She was Catholic by faith.

A member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Roscoe American Legion Post #801. Darla is survived by her husband William C. Scrip, a son William C. (Melanie) Scrip II of Roscoe, 2 daughters; Debbie (John) Gillen of Allenport, and Wendy Pellick of Coal Center, and a brother Terry (Joyce) Ames of Washington, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bob Ames and Kenneth Ames.

There will be no public visitation. All relatives and friends are asked to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday May 24, 2018 at the Roscoe United Methodist Church at 6:00pm with Rev. Brian Carroll presiding.
