Darlene Copeland was born April 15, 1958 in Los Angeles, California to Calvin and Marie Ledbetter. She departed this life on Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 11 months, and 21 days. Darlene grew up in the Woodland, California area where she attended schools there.

On July 22, 1983, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, she and Jerry Keith Copeland were united in marriage. They have made Pryor, Oklahoma their home since 2004. Darlene worked as a kitchen… Read More » supervisor for over 10 years at the California Highway Patrol Academy, retiring in 1998.

She enjoyed sewing and making dolls. She loved to watch T.V., especially CNN. She will be missed by those that knew her.

Darlene is survived by: her husband: Jerry, of the home; 2 sons: Steven Ledbetter and Benjamin Hill; 2 grandchildren: Travis and Angel; 1 granddaughter: Nikki; 3 step-sons: Scott Copeland, Todd Copeland, and Michael Copeland; 3 sisters: Linda Richardson, Pat Benefit, and Mary Lambert; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister. No formal services will be held.

Cremation Services have been entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
