Darline Smith April 24, 1935 – January 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card CIMARRON – Darline Smith, 83, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her home in Cimarron. She was born April 24, 1935 at Belpre, Kansas, the daughter of Clifford and Pauline (Hager) Boman. She graduated from Belpre High School and attended Pratt Community College.

On November 7, 1959 she married Ralph Smith at Belpre. She and Ralph owned Macksville Manufacturing, where she was the secretary and office manager. They sold the business and it was relocated to Cimarron where they moved to in August of 1984 and continued to work for the company.

She enjoyed flower gardening and collecting rocks and angels. She treasured time spent with family. Survivors include: her 2 children, Doug Smith and Rayna Maddox both of Cimarron; 3 grandsons, Aaron, Kyle, and Jason Maddox; and her sister, Lizzy Cain and husband Tom, Auburn Hills, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Duane “John” Boman, and her husband, Ralph on December 15, 2004. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 9, 2019 at St. Bernard Church in Belpre with Fr. Bernard Felix presiding.

Inurnment will follow in the Belpre Cemetery. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. The family suggests memorials to Gray County EMS in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 446, Cimarron, Kansas 67835.
