Marlene Koehn October 22, 1947 – March 18, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card CIMARRON – Marlene Koehn, 71, died Monday, March 18, 2019 at her home in Cimarron. She was born October 22, 1947 at Greeley, Colorado, the daughter of Junior and Gertrude “Jean” (Elginer) Black. She was a former resident of Ellsworth and Montezuma, moving to Cimarron over 40 years ago, where she worked for Cimarron Insurance.

She was also an avid collector of clowns. On April 2, 1981 she married John W. Koehn at the First Christian Church in Cimarron. Survivors include: her husband John, of the home; her 3 children, Tony Moore and wife Diane, Cimarron, Lisa Dow and husband Steven, Cimarron and Destiny Wetzel and husband Dustin, Pittsburg, Kansas; her step-son, Michael Koehn and wife Net, Jasper, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Marlin and Donald Black. Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.

The family suggests memorials to Gray County EMS in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 446, Cimarron, Kansas 67835.
