Darren Laven “Poppa” Law departed this life on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Whatley, AL. He was born August 29, 1964 to the late Silas and Ruby Law. He attended First Baptist Church in Whatley, AL.

A graduating member of the Clarke County High School Class of 1982, he helped his father as a carpenter in the family business. After graduating he continued to work as a self employed carpenter. Preceding him in death were his parents, Silas and Ruby Law; brother, Alfred (Vicki) Law; and sister, Janice Marie Law.

Poppa leaves to forever cherish his memories his beloved wife: Laura Law, Whatley, AL; three step daughters: Elizabeth Robinson, Montgomery, AL, Christy Robinson and Ashley Robinson, Grove Hill, AL; three devoted step grandchildren: Kiana Coates, Montgomery, AL, DeAndre Love, Foley, AL, and DaMyon Horn, Grove Hill, AL; two brothers: David (Phyllis) Law, Whatley, AL and Silas Law, Jr., Lacey, WA; two special brothers: Larry (Rita) Pendleton, Toledo, OH and Marcus (Shelia) Ambrose, Spanish Fort, AL; one aunt: Tilda (John) Jones, Whatley, AL; two uncles: Millard J. Robinson, Whatley, AL and Clarence (Mary) Robinson, Silver Springs, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
