Darrin Michael Jorn, 50, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at 7:26 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Cremation rites were accorded and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Father Daniel Willenborg, St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro, IL, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL. Mr. Jorn was born on May 9, 1968, in Hillsboro, IL, to Kenneth & Carol (Reynolds) Jorn.

He was a 1987 Graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL, and owned and operated Jorn Signs. Mr. Jorn lived in Hillsboro, IL for most of his life. He married Becky Chesser on May 30, 2003.

She survives in Hillsboro, IL. Mr. Jorn was a Precinct Committeemen Republican party, and member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge.

He was a graphic artwork specialist, loved woodworking, also loved target shooting, music, and playing with friends in a band. He donated many graphic art banners to organizations. Mr. Jorn is survived by his parents; Kennth & Carol Jorn of Hillsboro, IL; wife, Becky Jorn of Hillsboro, IL; three children, Derek Chesser, Dylan White, and Darby White, all of Hillsboro, IL; one brother, Denny (Wife Marci) Jorn of Hillsboro, IL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made out to donor’s choice.
