Obituary for Dave Wood Memorial Services for Dave Wood, age 86 of Hideaway, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Lindale, TX with Pastor Chris Dilley officiating and under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, TX. Dave passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Lindale, TX. He was born December 30, 1931 in Cadillac, Michigan to the late John and Myrtle (Reese) Wood.

Dave moved from Dallas, TX to Hideaway, TX in 2000 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lindale, TX. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, was a graduate of the University of Michigan, and worked throughout his life in sales as a manufactures Rep, Dave enjoyed spending time with his wife square dancing with the Rambling Roses square dance club and their Encouragers Sunday school class. He was also a member of the Hideaway Kiwanis Club.

Dave is survived by his wife of 18 years, Dorothy Wood of Hideaway, TX; children, Cindy Hubbard and husband, John of Lockesburg, Arkansas, John Wood and wife, Terri of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mike Wood of Laurel, Montana; sister, Judy Montgomery of Northville, Michigan; 9 grandchildren; 3 step children and numerous nieces and nephews.
