Obituary for Thelma M. Hogue A memorial service for Thelma Mae Barron House Hogue, age 84 of Lindale, is scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the New Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Shawn Brandon officiating. A private family graveside was held at the New Harmony Cemetery with arrangements under Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.

Thelma was born in New Harmony on August 9, 1934 to the late Fred Forrest and Jewel (Barron) House. She went to glory on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Thelma lived a full life devoted to her Savior, her church, and her family.

In her last 12 years she lived a full life in New Harmony, close to the church, family, and friends she loved. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother, and 2 great grandchildren already in glory. She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Hogue of New Harmony; twin brother, Delma House of College Station; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Andy Chilek of New Harmony; Sandra and Kevin Pryor of Flint; Kay and Mike Barclay of Bridge City; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Chilek, Jake Chilek, David Chilek, Matt Barclay, Rex Buttram, William Hogue, and Dave Newton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Thelma Hogue’s name, to the Texas Baptist Children’s Home, 629 Farley St. Waxahachie, Texas 75165.
